- Question: The grid operator or a third party already provides telecontrol technology. Why does telecontrol technology still have to be ordered from Amperecloud?
Answer: At this point there is often a misunderstanding of the terminology, as the grid operator does not provide complete telecontrol technology, but only a telecontrol system, see Types of implementation of telecontrol technology.
- Question: Digital and analog inputs and outputs are required for telecontrol technology. Are these available on the Amperecloud Log?
Answer: These connections are only partially available directly on the log, but it can be expanded to include almost any connections. Amperecloud takes care of setting them up.
- Question: The documentation states that an auxiliary voltage is required for the 4-20mA analog connection. How is this connected?
- Answer: See the instructions for installing the telecontrol components.
