The Teltonika RUT241 LTE router supplied with the Amperecloud Log always comes equipped with a SIM card under a contract with the provider EMnify GmbH.
By connecting to all German as well as many European and international networks, a stable connection is possible in almost any location worldwide.
The data connection establishes an encrypted link to Amperecloud’s servers, enabling secure communication with the Amperecloud Platform and remote maintenance access to the Amperecloud Log.
Data Volume Limit
Warning!
The router has a limited monthly data volume. Exceeding this limit will result in a loss of connection.
The data quota is fixed per month and is always sufficient for the requirements of a plant. If, in rare cases, the data volume is not sufficient for this purpose, it can be increased either once or permanently. In such cases, please contact our support team.
Usage Rights
Please note that the use of the data volume is strictly intended for communication between the Amperecloud Log and the Amperecloud Platform, as well as for remote maintenance by Amperecloud.
Use by the customer for other purposes—including, but not limited to, VPN connections, remote maintenance, or connecting to inverter portals or other hardware manufacturers—is prohibited.
Tip:
When connecting to the router’s network, make sure your device only establishes connections necessary for setting up the router or the Log. Set the network as a metered connection. This option is available on Windows and Android
, among others. Also, disable all other communication and update services, and avoid browsing the internet.
Amperecloud reserves the right to terminate such connections at any time and to charge for any resulting costs.
Currently, the supplied SIM card may only be used in routers provided by Amperecloud in connection with an Amperecloud Log.
