Counter wiring

6

ℹ NOTE

See here for a connection via RS485

⚠ ATTENTION

The A and B signals must always be swapped for Janitza meters.

2

Connect the positive signal (+) of the counter to the 5V output of the logger (pin 1).
Connect the negative signal (-) of the counter to one of the S0(+) inputs of the logger.
Install a jumper between the corresponding S0(-) input of the logger and ground (pin 2)..

ℹ NOTE

If the counter signals are bipolar, steps ① and ② can be interchanged.

ℹ NOTE

The instructions are based on meters with galvanically isolated, potential-free contacts. As the inputs of the logger are also potential-free, an auxiliary voltage is used and the negative input of the logger is bridged to ground.

Network

If the supplied LTE router is used, you must plug the LAN cable that connects the inverters to each other into the LAN port of the router.
By default, the LTE router has the IP address 192.168.1.1 and is located in the subnet of 255.255.255.0. The Amperecloud Log automatically connects to meters in the network and takes over the configuration from the digital twin.

⚠ ATTENTION

Please ensure that the meter is accessible from the Amperecloud Platform network. Consult the documentation for the meter.

Assign static IP addresses to the devices.
