Company Admin: Access rights

 

Our new User Rollsopen_in_new_24dp_FILL0_wght400_GRAD0_opsz24 feature offers an alternative and simpler method of providing members with access to functions and attachments via user roles.


Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Call up company Admin

  1. Click on your company name in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Select Company admin from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Open access rights

  1. Navigate to the company settings in your Amperecloud Platform.
  2. Select the Access rights area.

Step 3: Select user access rights configuration

Select the user from the list whose rights you want to configure. Please note that only the rights of regular users can be configured. Administrators automatically have access to all systems and functions.accsess rights user real

Administrator rights cannot be changed here. Only regular users can have their access rights adjusted.


Step 4: Define system access

Select the systems to which the selected user should have access. Activate or deactivate the corresponding options to grant or deny access.

The availability of the systems may vary depending on your company structure and the assigned licenses.


Step 5: Configure function access

Determine which functions the user can access within your company. Please note that the functions displayed may vary depending on your license and the hardware used on site.

Only functions that are supported by your license and hardware can be selected. Contact support if you are missing functions that should be available according to your license.

Problem solutions

Common problems and solutions

  • Problem: The user does not have access to assigned attachments.
    Solution: Check that the attachments have been assigned correctly and that there are no license restrictions.

  • Problem: Changes to rights are not saved.
    Solution: Make sure that you have the required administrator rights and check your Internet connection.
