The "Status" tab in the Amperecloud Platform provides detailed insights into the transmitted status codes of your equipment components, such as inverters, presented in a clear format. This guide explains how to effectively navigate and interpret these status codes.
Step 1
In the "Status" tab, you will find the transmitted status codes of your equipment components, for example, the inverters, visualized in a structured manner.
A - Selection and Display of Status Codes
In this section, you can adjust your view based on the time frame (day, month, year), a specific date, and the relevant equipment.
LOG lists the status codes in a tabular form.
B - Visualization of Accumulated Status Messages
This area shows the accumulated status messages for the selected period.
- Status: Reported code with its interpretation (meaning, severity).
- Name: Description of the error or warning.
- Severity: Assessment of severity, e.g., error or warning.
- Component: Name of the component from the Digital Twin.
- Device Type: Type of the reporting device (e.g., inverter).
- Occurrences: Graphical representation of occurrences within the selected timeframe. Hover over the graph to get detailed information.
Configure status codes
1. set up status codes
- Navigate to the Company Admin > Status Codes Sets.
Here you can view the overview of your own and official status codes.
Create a new set:
- Click on “Add status codes” and assign a name for the set.
- Open the set you have created and click on “Add status code”.
- Fill in the fields Code, Severity, Name, Description and indicate whether the code is inverted.
- Save the set.
Note on inverted status codes:
An inverted status code is a special status code which, in contrast to conventional status codes, signals the meaning “no error” as long as it is actively reported.
2. Ticket configuration
- Navigate to Digital Twin > Ticket configuration.
- Select the appropriate status code set from the list.
Status code updates will now create alerts instead of tickets.
Ticket creation from status codes is now completely removed.
3. Add status code list in the dashboard
- Navigate to “Dashboards” > "Add element".
- Select “Status codes” and add them to your dashboard.
ℹ NOTE
The Amperecloud Platform has a library of reported status and error codes from many common inverter manufacturers and can provide interpretation and severity level directly related to these codes. However, this may not be applicable to all inverter manufacturers. Contact us if you want your inverters to be included in the Amperecloud Platform library as well.
