Create e-mail notification for individual users
Amperecloud Platform allows you to configure email notifications for individual users to inform them of new tickets or alerts. This can be done by creating specific assignment rules. In this guide, you will learn how to set up and manage these notifications.
Step-by-step instructions for creating e-mail notifications
1. Access the company settings
-
Open the Amperecloud Platform and log in.
-
Click on your company name in the top menu to open the drop-down menu.
-
Select "Company settings" from the drop-down menu.
2. Navigate to "Assign tickets" or "Assign alarms"
-
Click on the "Assign tickets" or "Assign alarms" area, depending on the area for which you want to set up notifications.
3. Adding a new assignment rule
-
Click on "New assignment rule" at the bottom right of the screen to add a new assignment rule.
4. Defining the allocation rule
-
Determine the "severity" of the events to which this assignment rule should apply. This could be a critical alarm or a normal ticket, for example.
-
Select the installations to which this assignment rule applies. You can select individual installations or all installations under your company name.
-
Define the user who is to receive the e-mail notification. This user is then responsible for all tickets or alarms that correspond to this assignment rule.
-
Click on "Create" to save the assignment rule.
- The specified user will receive the emails to the address with which they are registered in the Amperecloud Platform.
- Make sure that the emails received are not marked as spam to ensure proper notification.
