Terminal diagram & communication diagram

Terminal diagram

A terminal diagram is required and provided in particular when I/O modules are used to expand the digital and analog connections of the Amperecloud Log. In a table, the connections of the hardware selected on the basis of the data point list and provided by Amperecloud are assigned to the connections available on the system (e.g. those of the FWA) and their function is specified.

Communication plan

A communication plan graphically shows how the hardware provided by Amperecloud must be connected to the customer system and is therefore partly redundant to the terminal plan. For example, the connection to RS-485 buses or Ethernet networks is shown, in some cases with details of static IP addresses. A diagram of the system provided by the customer can serve as a basis. A communication plan is only created on request, as all the information shown there is already provided elsewhere in written form (e.g. in installation instructions).
