Suitability

Reactive power control: Yes

Device configuration

The inverter and the data logger must be in the same network. With the Teltonika RUT supplied, the "LAN" port (pay attention to the labeling) can be used for this purpose. It is recommended to set a fixed IP for the inverter. In the standard configuration of the supplied router, the range 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.99 can be used for this.

Then select "Network" as the connection type in the digital twin, enter the model of the inverter and the IP. Set the "Slave Id" to 1 and the port to 502.

⚠ Note:

The following configuration steps must be carried out on the device itself. A password may be required for this.

  • Communication -> MODBUS -> Port 502 - activate.
  • Device monitoring -> Parameters -> Ext. controls -> Activate normalized active power limitation" - set to 1.
    • Depending on the network operator specification, "Activate fixed power factor control" (Cosinus Phi) or "Activation of normalized reactive power limitation" (Q/Pnom) must be set to 1 under the same sub-item.
