This document outlines the essential information and requirements for successfully onboarding a new facility into the Platform, including those with an AC-Log retrofit.
1. Customer and Facility Identification
Customer Information
- Name of the Customer
- Contact Information for Key Stakeholders (e.g., facility operator, owner, contracting party)
Facility Information
- Technical Details: Facility layout, simulation/design data, hardware specifications, communication infrastructure, remote control systems (RCS), and energy trading details
- Site Information: Facility access points, onsite contact information, any unique site features
- Legal Documentation: MaStr (Market Master Data Register), registration details, and protection settings (NA-Schutz)
- Contract Documentation: Relevant contracts for facility operation and management
Grid Operator and Energy Trader Information
- Grid Operator: Name, contact details, and legal documentation needed for connection and operation
- Energy Trader: Name, contact details, and required legal documentation
2. Data Flow and Collection Mechanisms
Identify data sources and channels for ongoing data flow:
- AC-Log Integration
- 3rd Party Dataloggers: Define data transfer method, such as FTP-push or HTTP
- API Access: Include VPN certificate if required for secure data transfer
3. Facility Hardware Specifications
List all hardware with manufacturer and model details:
- Dataloggers: Brand, technical specifications, and documentation
- Inverters: Include nominal DC power
- MPPTs: Nominal DC power
- String Combiners: Number of strings
- Strings: Number of modules and nominal power per module
- Sensors: Types such as irradiation, temperature
- Meters: Details on all installed meters
- Peripherals: Other relevant hardware such as UPS systems and switches
4. Simulation and Design Data Requirements
Provide facility-specific simulation data as outlined below:
- Irradiation Targets: Target sensor irradiation in kWh/m²
- Yearly Target Yield: kWh goal for annual production
- Specific Yield: kWh/kWp
- Static Yield Forecast: Monthly yield distribution
- Monthly Energy Yield
- Performance Ratio: Expected facility performance
5. Historic Facility Data
Provide historical data records for the facility, including:
- Daily and monthly energy yields (inverters, transformers)
- Daily and monthly energy feed-in (meters, grid connection points)
- Daily and monthly power generation (inverters)
- Daily and monthly irradiation data (irradiation sensors)
6. Communication Infrastructure
Document the facility’s communication setup, including:
- Grid Connection Points
- Key Locations: Transformer stations, electrical cabinets
- Communication Lines: RS-485, RJ-45 Ethernet, and fiber optic connections
- Networking Equipment: Routers, modems, switches
- Network Topology: IP address/subnet, DHCP settings, firewall configurations
7. Remote Control Systems (RCS) and Telecontrol
Grid Operator Contact: Name and contact person
Documentation Needed:
- E.9 Form
- Technical Connection Conditions (TAB) and supplemental conditions regarding telecontrol
- Project-specific data point list (or Amperecloud Log Modbus register list as needed)
- Telecontrol connection setup instructions and spatial layout requirements

8. Direct Marketing and Energy Trading
Energy Trader Information:
- Name of energy trader and relevant contacts
System Definition:
- Define the market location (MaLo), specifying generators and loads included in the system model
List of Energy Trading Interfaces:
- Identify all loggers equipped with an Energy Trading Interface (ETI) for efficient integration.
