Change direct marketer

Switching direct marketers can be done in four simple steps. Here you can find out how to proceed and what information you need.


Step 1: Finding the right direct marketer


The first step in switching direct marketers is to select a new provider. In Germany, there are many different direct marketers with different services and offers. Choosing the best provider can therefore be a challenge.

Step 2: Calculate additional revenue


The potential income that you can achieve with a new direct marketer should be transparent and available online. Step 3: Check and adhere to the notice period


The notice period for the existing contract is an important point to consider. Similar to a cell phone contract, the old contract should be terminated before the new one is concluded. The notice periods vary depending on the provider. You should therefore find out exactly what the notice periods are in your current contract.


Step 4: Have important information ready


You should have the following information to hand for the change of direct marketer:
- Name of the system
- Size of the system
- Approximate own consumption
- Market location ID (MaLo)
- Orientation of the system (azimuth)
- Inclination of the system
- Location of the system
