Instructions for Setting Up Communication with ABB-Inverters
Before you begin configuration, make sure you have thoroughly read and reviewed the following knowledge base pages:
1. Bus Address and Baud Rate
For some ABB inverters, establishing a stable connection at 19,200 baud can be challenging.
- In such cases, it is recommended to lower the baud rate for the entire bus (e.g., to 2,400 baud) to improve stability.
2. Set Modbus Protocol
Ensure that the Modbus protocol is set to "Aurora".
3. Accurate Model Configuration in the Digital Twin
To ensure proper detection by the Amperecloud LOG, the custom model in the digital twin should be as specific as possible.
-
For example, enter:
ABB Power-One TRIO-27.6TL-OUTD
as the custom model name.
