How do I perform a factory reset?


⚠ ATTENTION
When resetting, all settings are deleted and all measurement data is removed from the SD card.

To perform a factory reset, please follow these steps for the Amperecloud data logger:

  1. Prepare hardware:

    • Make sure the data logger is powered on and all connections are intact.
  2. Use reset button:

    • Locate the reset button on the top of the data logger housing.
  3. Carry out the reset procedure:

    • Press the reset button.
    • Within the next 2 seconds, press the Program button (Prog.) and hold it down for at least 1 second. Then release the Program button again.
    • Repeat the previous step (press and release the Prog. button) a total of three times in succession.
  4. Monitor status:

    • During the factory reset, the data logger LED flashes alternately in the colors RED and BLUE.
  5. Wait and restart:

    • After about 60 seconds, you should see the LED light up steadily, indicating that the reset is complete.
    • Now you can start configuring the data logger again. This typically involves setting up the network connection and other required settings.
