With the Amperecloud Remote product, Amperecloud makes it possible to connect energy generation facilities to one of the listed direct marketers , provided the facility is registered on the Amperecloud platform. If a desired direct marketer is not on the list, a request can be sent to customersuccess@amperecloud.com.
Amperecloud does not act as a direct marketer, but as a partner for remote controllability . The connection between the energy generation system and the direct marketer is established via Amperecloud Remote, with various technical options available.
Procedure for the connection

Connection via Amperecloud Log If a facility has an Amperecloud Log as a park controller, no further technical measures are required. Communication between the direct marketer and the facility takes place directly via the Amperecloud Log.

Connection via third-party parking controller via Modbus-TCP & OpenVPN If the facility is controlled via a third-party parking controller, the connection to the direct marketer is established via a VPN connection and Modbus-TCP. Amperecloud provides an OpenVPN certificate for this purpose, which must be installed on the customer's own router. After a successful VPN connection, the router's firewall must be configured to forward all requests to the direct marketing interface.
After the connection
After your energy generation facility has been connected to a direct marketer, a remote controllability test is usually carried out to ensure that the interface is functioning properly. This test is a prerequisite for payment of the market premium by the distribution grid operator.
The exact procedures may vary depending on the direct marketer. In the case of Interconnector (IC), for example, you must select the remote control part in the IC portal so that the connection can be confirmed in another tool.
