How do I delete an attachment?


Deleting an asset in the Amperecloud Platform is an important process that should be carried out with care, as deleted assets cannot be restored. The following steps explain how you can securely delete an installation in the digital twin at installation level:


Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the system in the digital twin

  • Navigate to Digital twin in the Amperecloud Platform.
  • Find the system you want to delete and open the detailed view of the system.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page

  • In the system view, scroll to the bottom of the page.

3. Press the delete button

  • At the bottom of the page you will find a red button labeled "Delete".
  • Click on this button to start the deletion process.

4. Confirm the delete command

  • A confirmation window opens. Read the instructions carefully.
  • Confirm the delete command to permanently remove the system.

Once deleted, attachments cannot be restored. Make sure that you have backed up all relevant data and that the attachment is actually to be deleted.
